# How well am I doing?

I’m a fully paid up member of the efficient market hypothesis club. So I only invest in something that will give me the broadest exposure to the equity risk premium.

However I see a lot of people debating a large bunch of thematic ETFs and it does worry me a little!

I think it would be great therefore to provide people with benchmarking options based on their own portfolios so they can see “what they could have had”.

Personally I would like to overlay MSCI/FTSE all world performance. But think it would be great to also overlay what the managed funds form IE would have returned too if I had made my investments into the benchmark rather than my choices.

Think this will really help people see the impact/damage of being late to a thematic ETF party.
