# London Stock Exchange incident 19th October

Trading in some stocks was halted by the LSE on Thursday afternoon, and they’re currently investigating the cause of the incident. You can follow updates [here](https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/lse-says-investigating-incident-some-shares-not-trading-2023-10-19/).

Our Operations team is aware of the issue and any impact on InvestEngine portfolios seems to be minor. Those pending trades that were not completed this afternoon, will now be executed in our usual trading window tomorrow. We will update you with any further updates as required.

The LSE has confirmed trading will resume as usual today (Friday 20th October) and no further incidents have been raised.

All outstanding orders will be executed today in our normal trading window.
