Why doesn’t this community forum have a Product Feedback category? Many of the posts are feature requests, and don’t seem appropriate for the General category. Having a specific section for feedback and suggestions might encourage more IE employees to look at it.

Thanks, Ben. Yes, I’m aware of that method, and have provided feedback that way.

Perhaps the lack of a feedback category here implies that IE would rather that such feedback was sent privately, rather than publicly.

The benefit of sending it publicly is that they can gauge the level of interest from the number of people chiming in saying they want it.

Bob79

Why don’t you send Invest Engine your CV? Tell them you could revolutionise their product management process 🙂

Thanks, Josh. 😁 If I actually wanted to do that, I’d start my own investment firm, though. Why get paid to add value, when I can earn the value itself, which would be far greater. Also, my CV would not suggest that I would be good at this, so I’m sure they wouldn’t hire me. But I’m not interested in doing that anyway. I’d be more than happy to talk with them about their products, though. In fact I try to talk to a lot of businesses about their products - I’m always trying to make things better. But in general I find they aren’t interested in listening to anyone (external or internal) about how they can be better - another reason to do it myself. This is why disruption occurs externally, rather than internally.

I think the platform is generally great - though have started to notice a few more annoyances of late - but I think the branding is bad. The first thing I would do (were I to do it myself) would be to create a brand and content that onboards people new to investing - grow the market, not try to gain share from others. I discussed this [here](https://community.investengine.com/t/suggestion-content-for-investing-beginners/1677). First product would be an ISA. It would be very simple.

But it isn’t the job for me.

FWIW InvestEngine run a tight ship ie with few employees.
I’d imagine they have however just invested in a red carpet to welcome all the Vanguard investors!

Hi @Bob79 up till now the volume of posts has meant that it seemed like this sort of feedback could sit in either Our News or Help, although I’m aware a lot of people tend to post it in General. Don’t worry - the category it sits in doesn’t affect whether or not the team see it (we see most things 👀).

But you asked, and it’s the season for giving - so we answered. Here’s your feedback category: [Product Feedback - InvestEngine](https://community.investengine.com/c/product-feedback/24)
