We’ve made it easier to add and manage beneficiaries for your InvestEngine SIPP.
You can now add an Expression of Wish directly from your account settings, letting us know who you’d like the pension trustees to consider when deciding who should receive your pension benefits after your death.
You can nominate up to 10 beneficiaries, including:
- Individuals
- Charities
- Trusts
For individuals, we’ll only ask for their name, relationship to you and percentage allocation. For charities and trusts, we’ll ask for their name and percentage allocation.
We’ve deliberately kept the information we collect to a minimum, so there’s no need to provide addresses, dates of birth or other personal details.
Your nominations can be reviewed or updated at any time, and we’ll also periodically remind you to check they’re still up to date.
As with all pension Expressions of Wish, your nominations aren’t legally binding. The pension trustees retain discretion over who ultimately receives the benefits, but your Expression of Wish gives them important guidance when making that decision.
