For commodity and mining buffs, Blackrock World Mining Trust - BRWM (GBP) on the LSE is one I found on IBKR which looks promising for an addition to IE. AUM are GBP £988M nominal and the fund has an interesting, I’d argue, quality strategy when you look at the top holdings. For a commodity/mining fund, it has a reasonably good rating by Lipper, and even performance over 5 years annualised is 13.01% , not bad considering the lacklustre performance of non main gold producing companies and also the fund pays divs currently yielding 4.14% on top of that. Fund objective is “to maximise total returns to shareholders through a worldwide portfolio of mining and metal securities. Up to 10% of the assets may be invested in physical metals and up to 20% of the assets may be invested in unquoted securities”
Hi
,
BRWM is not an ETF - it is an Investment Trust (BlackRock World Mining | The AIC).
