2FA - Authenticator App option

Thanks for putting 2FA in place.

Currently the only options are via text and a recovery phrase.

It would be great if InvestEngine offered an authentication app 2FA that could be used with Microsoft authenticator, Google authenticator etc.

Authenticator apps seem to be far more secure than SMS. Also has benefits over a recovery phrase as it changes frequently.

Are there any plans for this?

Hey @Investandchill thank you for your feedback! We do want to explore more authentication options for our clients and messages like this help us prioritise plans.

We will continue to roll out 2FA across our client base and then review possible third-party options. Please keep an eye on Community for further updates.
