There is a slight bug in the stock portfolios where if you try to add £50 cash directly to the stock portfolio it complains the minimum is £100. This is not the case for the cash portfolio and it is then possible to transfer £50 from the cash portfolio to the stock portfolio and invest it so I guess it was just some limit from before that someone forgot to remove since it’s pointless to keep it when there’s the cash portfolio workaround
Either that or the cash portfolio should also have £100 minimum
Hello @blobbicka, you can add amounts of less than £100 to your portfolio. If the issue persists, please feel free to reach out to us at support@investengine.com, and we’d be happy to assist you further!
Ok I just checked again and yes it is possible. It seems the restriction is only for brand new portfolios (regardless of overall accounting balances on other portfolios). But there is not the same restriction for an initial investment when transferring from cash account
Steps to reproduce:
Create new portfolio with a random etf
On the portfolio, click options and add cash and choose your saved bank details
Try to enter £50
Not so bad since it’s first time on any new portfolio only but still an fyi
