iOS / Android Widgets

Hi all!,

I’ve recently moved to Invest Engine from another investment platform and I’m excited to get going on what looks to be a really intuitive and cost effective platform.

One feature that appears to be missing when comparing against competitors is a nice set of iOS / Android Widgets. I have done my due diligence and searched for this feature request but I haven’t found anything.

It would be great to be able to see at a glance key measures of performance on our portfolios such as the TWRR / Simple rate of return as a % (Based on a specified timeframe 1d, 1w, 1m, 1y etc) and an option to see total portfolio balance (although I would want the option to hide it if possible).

Is there any scope or plan to design and build a set of iOS / Android widgets in the near future?

I like this suggestion. I rarely use any widgets but this is something I’d like to add if there was a small, minimal one available. It would be nice to be able to see singular portfolio performance or total account performance % with some timeframes.

Some widgets I have used before are huge, trying to cram in loads of data to the point where you may as well just be opening an app. Maybe some people would prefer that, with individual ETF performance etc., but I like the idea of a simple reminder of where I am on my journey in a quick glance.

Hi,

I’m glad I’m not the only one that can see the value of Widgets :slightly_smiling_face: . I have an ‘Investing’ page on my phone with my banking, pension and investing apps alongside some widgets. This is how it looks;

Top one is giving me an indication of how the market is performing on the day. The second one cycles through a few tickers of key stocks and the JPM one gives me the TWRR of my Portfolios. They all add value in their own way.

InvestEngine could this please be reviewed by your App Development teams?

Thanks again, and feel free to share any other ideas you have!
