What do people think about InvestEngine displaying a Simple Return percentage (ie. net gain or loss) alongside the Time-Weighted Return they currently show? Would this be useful for long-term investors? I also think showing YTD performance would be very helpful. Are there any other metrics people would like to see on the platform?

I’ve asked several times previously for a simple line graph on the desktop page; next to the Total Balance cell; perhaps even as a drop down feature. Same as for individual portfolios.
Both rubbish; both the theoretical “time weighted” or “simple percentage” return from the random day you opened the account are meaningless . I love the equity curve but i’d prefer it to default to the One Year /12 month view, or have an settings option where we can pick the default view when we logon. #choice!
