Sipp Savings plan

Hi just opened a SIPP, tried to set up a savings plan but got an error so invested an initial £100 as the app says is the minimum however I still am unable to set up a savings plan.
Should I just wait for something to clear or is this something else entirely,

Not all banks support Savings Plans (or rather the underlying mechanics of it) so maybe that’s where the problem lies?

I’m with HSBC - and they don’t support it - so I had to set up a direct debit.
