As you’ve probably seen - Vanguard has introduced fees for customers with less than £32,000. Read more in this link from the Investor’s Chronicle:
Yeah, we know - but without being actually able to transfer to IE what difference does it make!?
Hi @kyotoguardian you can already transfer your ISA to us, and our new pensions lead is hard at work on SIPP transfers as we speak. I know it’s been a wait, but you on the community will be the first to know when that feature is ready.
I have had friends that have rung Vanguard and they have always been happy with the customers services they have received. So in the great scheme of things, going from minimum annual charge of £30 to £48, is not really that bad.
For example a customer rings them often to help him do draw down, because he feels uneasy doing it himself and he has been really pleased with their telephone service.
And yet for every customer like yours, that it is probably not a massive issue for, there are others like me who will go from paying somewhere in the region of a tenner to nearly fifty quid.
@Gredawarha You want to take advantage of IE invite a friend and you will make another £100 per invite. If there are no restrictions, that will increase your portfolio.
@jamesc That is all very good but I want to be able to transfer in my SIPP from Vanguard and currently IE don’t provide that facility!
Vanguard SIPP transfer in to IE capability was announced yesterday @Gredawarha

Vanguard SIPP transfer capability announced
Unless your employer is contributing into your Vanguard SIPP too, which is not supported yet by the looks.
It might worth waiting just encase they do transfer bonus. I remember earlier this year I would have got 2.5k to transfer my ISA to them

Quick update from us. At the moment, transfers need to be done on the website, however we’re aiming to update the app at the beginning of the week. The team is working hard, and we hope to roll out wider transfers soon.
