Hello there!

We are always looking to expand the ETF offering on our platform and carefully listen to our community for suggestions. I have forwarded your ETF request to our investment team, who will look into adding it to our DIY portfolio option.

We can’t give any precise date for adding new funds at the moment but we’ll post updates on our Community.

Thank you for your suggestion. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

But new ETFs are getting added this week as has been stated multiple times by InvestEngine staff on this forum, correct?

Hi @Sisaket I think @Sebastian.Ricaurte was referring to this request in particular, when the team take a request we can’t give an ETA for when it will be added, as that’s the investment team’s call. Hope that helps!

Hi @Sebastian.Ricaurte, thanks for your reply. I am keen to understand why it takes a certain time to add ETFs to IE. Could you please explain what is the process and the steps you have to take so that the community can also understand? That would be great! Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for your question. Each ETF needs to go through a thorough due diligence process, where we assess factors like performance data, liquidity, and other important metrics. It’s crucial for us to maintain a high standard of quality control for all the funds available on our platform.

We have a dedicated team that conducts this research and prioritizes which ETFs to add. To streamline the process, we aim to add as many as we can in bulk. We truly appreciate your patience as we work through this, and we’ll continue to expand our offerings as quickly as possible.

Is there an accumulative version of this? If so that should be added as well.

Morning  :grinning:

In general: There is an accumulation version (Amundi Prime All Country World UCITS ETF Acc, ISIN IE0003XJA0J9, Ticker WEBN) but… the Amundi website doesn’t show that it is available in London yet.

Thank you for the quick turnaround. Could we also have the distributing share class, as it’s more convenient for business and GIA accounts?

Yes mate - that’s what you’ve now got access to

@fionagraham @Sebastian.Ricaurte @TanyaIE

I think you’ve got your tab wrong - PACW is distributing not accumulating, methinks.

The KIID pdf linked there also shows that PACW is distributing.

Could you please correct the tab and all linked information?

Thank you.

That’s what confused me! It seems InvestEngine has inaccurate data in their system, which could potentially lead to tax implications for their customers.

Yes it’s distributing, not accumulating…is it worth investing in this Long Term vs FWRG? It’s half the OCF % price but distributing…does that mean that it will lag in terms of performance?

In general - there is not much of a difference between accumulation and distributing version of the same ETF.

The excellent Monevator blog has a good article about this: https://monevator.com/income-units-versus-accumulation-units-difference/

I had set up a number of portfolios within my IE ISA in order to “see” for myself - other people backtesting stuff is all fine and dandy but for some things I do prefer to see for myself using real money.

I invested the same amounts of money on the same day in each version of these ETF’s and the returns I got on each portfolio were the same.

Soooo… maybe this is something worth doing for yourself with regards to FWRG? But… these ETF’s do not track the same index… just sayin’.

However, I do prefer distribution versions because I use the dividends to fund other portfolios.

All noted on the income/accumulating concerns on the platform.

This will be rectified tomorrow and it was due to an error on the Bloomberg terminal. I can confirm PACW is a distributing share class.

Thanks for the swift response and for addressing the issue so promptly. I’m really glad to see this ETF added. It’s definitely going to shake things up and bring some healthy competition in the UK. Curious to see what Vanguard’s response will be… maybe the VWRL/VWRP at 0.05% :crossed_fingers:

Can you check Amundi MWOZ as well? You have it as accum. but I think it may be distributing. Thanks.

That’s interesting..
I have no problem re-investing dividends…
There are minor differences between the 2 indexes but not enough to bother me..
0.07% for an All Country ETF is very cheap
I make actually do the unthinkable and invest in a 50/50 split

All rectified on MWOZ and PACW. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. @xray

Compared with FWRG PACW seems to be down approximately 3% more YTD…currency? Index tracking error?
