Hi @Cenarius, not sure if you’re aware but IE will only offer ETFs that trade in GBP on the LSE.

USSC only trades in USD so it won’t be offered on here.

I’m not familiar with the other ETFs.

Morning :grinning: ,
None of these ETF’s has a GBP/GBX listing in London (yet) so IE will not be offering them.

I usually use JustETF (https://www.justetf.com/uk/search.html?search=ETFS) to have a looksee at ETF’s I’m interested in.

Thank you all. I wasn’t aware the investengine doesn’t offer ETFs that are traded in USD.

Is there a plan in the future to offer USD traded ETFs that are listed on the London stock exchange?

From the responses I’ve seen, they don’t have that planned but perhaps they will see this feed and clarify.

It adds complexity for IE and costs for us investors because we would be converting currency. IE would likely have to charge investors for this service.

You can buy USSC (and perhaps the others) on T212 but you would have to pay 0.15% currency conversion every time you buy and sell.

Alternatively you could buy the Avantis Global Small Cap Value ETF on T212, which trades in GBP and avoid the currency conversion. Hopefully IE will also launch this ETF soon!

@Carl Some of the Avantis products will be added in our next batch, compiling the list as we speak. SP20 will also be included.

Could you please add the date, on which ETF’s were added to the range, add as headlines in the Recently added collection?

Hi thank you for this. SP20 is what i’m waiting for. Great news!

I’m happy SP20 is coming but doesn’t this entire thread point to an issue? Specifically that IE are just too slow to add ETFs to the platform? I’m a shareholder, I’m not here to destroy value. I want IE to succeed. Yet iShares (one of the biggest managers in the world) release an ETF and we don’t get it on platform for weeks due to concerns over X, Y and Z. If the ETF was from a minor ETF manager with zero liquidity and other issues that would cause IE issues behind the scenes then, yeah, I get it, don’t add it. But iShares? Really? C’mon!

Now that SP20 is nearly sorted someone will realise iShares release IART in the meantime and the start the cycle all over again. Yes, the exposure is similar to SP20 in a way but IART is active so will change composition over time.

IART was launched 16th jan 2025. So shall we place a bet on when it will turn up on IE?

For context, SP20 was 12th Nov 2024. So gonna be close on 3 months, 3 MONTHS!! By the time it hit IE. For a manager and an asset you could virtually guarantee was going to be of ÂŁ$ size and of significant enough liquidity etc. etc. to alleviate any IE back-office concerns.

And because of the delay I (who remember - I hold shares in IE) have just bought it elsewhere. I look at Stocklist . ai I see where it has been added to a platform and I buy it there. Why? Because I want it now. I don’t want to wait. Who does? This delay is therefore an issue in my mind.

If you have a looksee at the posts across time where more information has been asked for - we still do / did not get the whole process of “What goes into making any ETF available for purchase on IE?” laid out for us in one single coherent post. There’s a sentence here and there and you have to piece it all together yourself - maybe it’s time to ask a few questions when the results come in?

And then there’s the absence of any team members for most days / weeks from these 'ere boards - you can count engagement on your fingers. It just doesn’t feel as if there’s a “team” of people sitting somewhere monitoring posts, let alone replying to them.

In your example of IART - it is already available on AJ Bell and can be bought both inside an ISA and a SIPP - however it is not available for regular investment, where commission drops to ÂŁ1.50 commission per purchase, and will therefore cost ÂŁ5 commission per purchase.

AJ Bell does categorise it as “Complex Financial Instrument” and you have to take a test (a few questions) in order to buy it.

Think AJB are just over keen! “Complex” instruments usually gain that tag via use of derivatives or any form of leverage. Can’t see much about IART that would warrant “complex” under MiFID rules.

Hey! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We truly appreciate your support as a shareholder and InvestEngine client and your enthusiasm for new ETF listings on our platform.

We understand that speed of ETF additions is an important factor for many investors, and we acknowledge that there is always room for improvement. Our priority is to ensure that every new ETF meets the necessary criteria for seamless integration, which can sometimes take longer than expected—even for well-established issuers like iShares.

That said, we take your feedback seriously and are continually working to streamline our processes. The demand for timely access to new ETFs is clear, and we have forwarded your feedback to the relevant team.

Your feedback plays a vital role in shaping our approach, and we’re committed to delivering the best possible experience for our investors.

So talking of speed of listings ETFs on the InvestEngine platform: Will you guys be added the Amundi ETFs that previously were not available in your ISA because of Brexit oddities meaning they could not be Passported to the UK? Well, today they are back and listed on the LSE and Amundi are flagging that they are now available for sale in the UK.

MWRL and MWOZ appear to be the GBP tickers that IE could list.

They are both obviously liquid, of significant AUM and so on…

So… how fast wil you add these popular and big ETFs back to the platform?

Looking at Stocklist .ai this morning literally no one has them on platform yet.

Break the mould? Be first to market?

I assume you meant ‘are now available’?

And did you ever get a response as to when SP20 will become investable on the platform?

I personally wouldn’t touch any Armundi ETFs they have a horrible record of delisting LSE ETFs especially the Luxembourg ones .

5 at least in the last 2 years

Agreed. The Amundi/Lyxor merger has been horrible. So many closures, mergers, liquidations … no idea why anyone bothers when other (better?) options available
