Is there any update on this?
It’s been almost a year since I joined InvestEngine, and there are still no managed portfolios and the statement still says they’re being worked on. Initially they were temporarily unavailable, but nearly 12 months is longer than temporary. The communication feels poor to me. I love the ease of using IE, but this is giving me cold feet about continuing to add money.
Hi @InvestEngine5 can you give us an update on this situation?
Hi, there’s been no response to this. Can we have an update?
April 2026 - would really like to start a managed SIPP but will probably have to look elsewhere?
Well that was embarrassing. Tried to get a referral to an investment noob wanting to start with a managed account, and they can’t create one ![]()
This is crazy. How can a ‘temporary’ hold last for well over a year? What’s going on with IE; a supposed ‘Which ?’ best provider?
They must have missed out on 10s if not 100s of thousands of pounds being invested with them, let alone losing the current customers who’ve packed their bags (of money), upped sticks and invested in a rival platform, sth which I am seriously considering.
For heaven’s sake IE, sort this out!
Hi all, I’m afraid we cant commit to a timeline at the moment as there is too much uncertainty and a lot of actions that are out of our control, but please be assured that we make everything possible to re-introduce Managed portfolios as soon as possible and we will let you know once this has been done
Thank you for your prompt reply. But it’s the same answer that was trotted out well over a year ago. Nothing has changed. You realise people are not investing with you because of this. Current customers are also leaving. Your loss, I guess and it doesn’t help IE’s image…
@domstrongbow Vapourware springs to mind.
How can this be taking so long? It’s been years! Last year you said, ‘in the new year’…
I like this response, but it was a year and a half ago!!! What is going on???
