New to ETFs - rate/comment on my investment

Hi All,

I am a single person household, currently mid 40s, therefore, now considering life as such after retirement. I’m new to the world of investments in ETFs. I’m looking to build capital and have income for retirement. So pretty much a 15-20 yr horizon, and to mention I’m quite risk aversed. Currently have a £900 monthly split across a HL SIPP(£500 - 50% split btw sp500 and ftse); and a S&S DIY ISA on Investengine (£400 - 85%ACWI and 15%vaneck SMGb).

would welcome comments on whether this is a reasonable approach to get very decent returns at the end of the 15-20 year mark ?

I would consider VanEck Semiconductor UCITS ETF “hot and spicy”. Any slow down in the AI investment boom could see this perform poorly for a while. Consider some gold perhaps?.
