Fractional Portfolio allocation

Hi,

Currently, you can only use integer to assign assets allocation in portfolios.

Can you kindly consider adding the option to edit portfolio allocation with at least one decimal point please? This would be a unique feature compared to competitors and help fine tune our allocations.

Many Thanks

This has been requested a few times, so there’s demand for it.

Come on IE, this can’t be difficult to implement!

Unique? Trading212 partial shares run to 6 decimal places…
It is useful on the crazy expensive options.

Morning :grinning:

Trading 212 Portfolio allocation is in full % (with no decimal points) for target weights of holdings in pies - same as IE.

However in actual weights they do show 2 decimal places for each holding unlike IE which only shows 1 decimal place I think, unless the holding is set to 100%.

If the holding is set to 100% then neither shows any decimal place.

As for partial shares - both show 6 decimal places.

The request is to be able to set portfolio allocation with 1 decimal place - something neither IE nor Trading212 currently offers.

Do remember that you can manually buy individual ETFs in increments of £0.01 (above the minimum amount) and that will ignore any portfolio allocations that you have set. So, in effect, you can create your own fractions, it is just that you have to do some calculations before you purchase to achieve that.
Obviously you also need to turn off auto-invest.
