Is the SIPP transferred from Vanguard be like-for-like?

Hi, my wife has a SIPP with Vanguard and I suggested her to transfer it to IE. Will the transfer be like-for-like with the funds? She is currently investing in the ‘U.S EQUITY INDEX FUND - Accumulated’, however, I cannot find it on IE. How would the SIPP transfer work?

@DamianoNana
Yes and no… in general the SIPP can be transferred but as your wife’s holding is not an ETF Vanguard would sell all of it first and then transfer in cash.

But… if you or your wife swap the Fund into an ETF -then the transfer would be in specie provided the ETF is offered by IE.

See here for how to switch holdings:

The only pureplay ETF concentrating on US alone is S&P 500 - VUAG (Accumulation).
