Would be good if investengine would let you merge portfolios. With time realising multiple portfolios just increases complexity!

I said a year ago that we need the ability to move holding between portfolios. Since they (portfolio’s) are just facades to an underlying account, there really doesn’t appear to be a reason this can’t happen. Strategy changes are made difficult by this lack of facility, and clearly selling and repurchasing holdings presents opportunity costs and tax implications.
