If I want to do a partial ISA transfer and keep some investments with the old provider that IE do not offer, how do I manage what parts of the ISA are transferred?

Good question. Their FAQ suggests that they still only support partial transfers “in cash”! I sold down my unit trusts and bought ETFs in advance so the whole ISA would come over in one go. I did a full transfer and it went smoothly; took about 3 weeks.

Hi Ben, we do not support partial in-specie transfers, so you will need to sell your holdings and transfer them to us as cash.
