So i’m going to have a moan.
I got a second survey email and it is literally 30 days since the last one. My views haven’t changed in the last 30 days. I don’t mind doing one once a year, but every 30 days is too often.
The reality is most of the questions you ask in the surveys are pointless to answer. Questions like:
“What would make InvestEngine the go-to for your money?”
I mean do you really want an honest answer? I could say offer everything that T212 offers for starters. Instant completion of orders. No waiting for them to be batched at some random time of the day but executed when the buy or sell button is clicked. From what I can gather you aren’t able to do that, for whatever reason, but I suspect you don’t have the tech or access level to do it, so it’s pointless to suggest it.
You have to accept that you are a smallish company offering a niche product that is aimed at people who probably never read a book on how stock markets work, never read a book on analysing chart data and probably don’t know what VWAP or MACD is, nor have the desire to actually do due diligence on individual stocks. For that crowd, restricting to only buying ETF’s makes a lot of sense and cuts down on problems.
