I am looking to sell my portfolio
It is to fund a purchase i can not meet any other way.
I realize this is possibly the worst time to be doing this
but i have very little choice.
The question is aprox how long does it take
to clear funds to my account after pushing the sell button.
What taxes are due and who pays them and when.

It is probably best to contact IE CS directly with all of these questions so they can advise.
However… if you’re holding everything within a Stock & Shares ISA then no taxes are to be paid and you don’t need to fill in any paperwork - yet another reason for me not to have any GIA’s anywhere.
In general - any trades should settle within 2 days. So, if you were to press the sell al button right now the trades should be actioned today. Tuesday afternoon / Wednesday morning the money should then be available to be withdrawn.
