Customer service?

can the management help with customer logging in? transfering cash in and out?

people are locked out of their cash? 2FA appears broken? customers regetting joining?

i have 3 figures with invest engine and it appears that bad it seems you are going to liquidate the business and i am getting really worried!

can anyone from ‘the management’ address these issues?

do you have any staff watching these boards? screenshots of these questions will be sent across social media, FFS

I don’t visit these boards often, but I am becoming more and more surprised at the alarming number of people who have legitimate issues that require IEs attention only to have received little to no response whatsoever, and subsequently getting rightly fed up and increasingly worried that IE appear to have little care with people’s savings. Happy to take the money, but not sort out problems when they arise.

Should we be concerned over this increased negligence on their part?

Would be interesting to know what other people think about this worrying situation, including the veterans of IE, who have more experience dealing with them.

Having only email contact is far too basic, even for neobrokers, and should include an online chat service as a minimum (and preferably human not AI crap).

From reading these related comments about very poor customer service, it looks like they are not endearing themselves as a serious competitor any more, at least that’s the way it appears.

Their non-existent support kind of locks you in, especially those who have had bad experiences and want to move elsewhere. Zero interest for customer concerns can only serve to push people away, but fear of having your money lost in the ether during a transfer to another platform is going to put people off.

I personally haven’t had any issues, but having read some of these comments, I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point I did. It’s all very concerning indeed.

like you i havent had any issues and my cash isa transfers have gone very well, my 3.5 years investing and using various funds and the ease of using the platform are all good.

it appears the turnover of staff who post on this forum is very sketchy as new names appear and the older names disappear hence why people are having issues.

i also use 2 other platforms with no issues and the ease of buy/sell is instant and good.

every day there are worrying issues which i believe stems from customer support which i find alarming.

@mark66 You have got it in one there re staff. Do they have a high turnover of staff? Or are they bogus accounts from the same few people posting infrequently, and only when it suits them to?

There should really be a continuous staff presence on the forum to answer questions and give assurances, but sadly this is very much lacking. A monumental shortfall for a company that manages over £1bn in AUM.

The thing with IE is when it works it’s great…it really is. Simple to navigate and easy to buy and sell. Not the quickest but for the most part, effective.

I just dread if I have an issue that needs resolving, especially after reading the comments of people who have had bad experiences.
