Customer Service Is Horrible

Sent an email to customer support, and 3 days later I’m still waiting on a response or some kind of feedback.

With millions invested, is this acceptable?

And still no response.

still nothing. Do IE monitor this forum at all?

appears that customer service is non existent.

are they trying to run their business down on purpose, do they realise social media talk about these issues, would a 1st time investor deposit their cash with IE?

i am getting lost for words!

To answer your question, yes there is (a platform with a good customer service).
In my experience T212 get back to me by email within a couple of hours. On Freetrade they respond within a few minutes (by chat), although I am a Plus customer so have priority service. My other experience is with HL and they answer the phone within a few seconds.
I only remain with IE for my business account and then only because it represents investments needed for regulatory purposes, so there is not expected to be any change for years, but the responses from IE have also run into days. I strongly advise IE customers not to attempt to withdraw from their SIPP, it is virtually impossible; just transfer the funds to another SIPP provider and make the withdrawal from them.

I believe 3 days is probably the FCA minimum, it certainly is for complaints. when i was with ‘charles stanley direct’ they were brilliant; the response was within minutes. … but its was at least £600 per year. if you dont mind the fees, then id recommend them!
