I sold my stock before since it was index funds rather than ETF.

Did Vanguard contact you during the process to say, 'We’ve received a SIPP transfer request from Invest Engine. Do you want to proceed etc?"
How long did the whole process take start to finish?

I never received an email from Vanguard. Only IE saying they contacted them
