People need information to make informed decisions. Capital gains tax is a significant consideration when selling shares, especially with the tax-free allowance having come down in the last few years, and the tax rates having gone up very recently. Despite this, the platform currently offers no information on estimated net capital gains on the review page, prior to executing a sale or rebalance.
It would be very easy to show both the expected CG incurred in the sale of each asset, and the total net expected CG from the sale, on the review page of a sale or rebalance (at least for GIAs). Please could we have this feature?
