My order didn’t go through yesterday. I also had some bizarre thing saying that orders couldn’t be cancelled between 11:30 and 19:00…I have never seen this before…

I had some IE orders go through at about 11:40 yesterday (31st Dec) @Gandalf.
UK market closed at 12:30 for the holiday, so early order-execution would explain why IE’s order freeze started earlier (11:30).
It doesn’t explain why your order didn’t execute though.

Ok…I didn’t put the order till after 12:30…that explains it! Thanks for the clarification Ned
InvestEngine’s communication of the early trading/closing for Christmas Eve or New Years Eve is rather lacking. I didn’t see anything this year, however, I now know to expect it.
A closable banner at the top of the IE web pages that re-opens (if previously closed) once a week in December would be my suggestion.
