Thanks! @tom.winterton
Any chance to have all the other fixed as well please?
@UncleBob, @navro @RaAl - re Other ETFs affected
This specific issue with PMLP was an error from the data vendor / fund manager - fixed.
- Newer ETFs missing look-through data
We are still waiting for fund data to be added on some of the new funds. Specifically some of those funds added during the Advent releases before Christmas. We made judgement call to not delay but add these before all the look-through data was 100% ready.
Some of these are new (to IE) providers and (weāre told) it takes at least 6 weeks (sometimes longer) to onboard these new providers. Iām told weāre making good progress most of the provider/ETF but we are struggling with the odd provider (Ossiam). Iāll try chase and try to get an update.
- High uncategorised % for a small number of funds
We have an SLA with our data vendor that we aim for +95% of Equity ETF underlying holdings (excluding derivates) to be categorized, with the details on the underlying companies provided. We do need to be slightly flexibly with this as index are updated all the time and with thousand of companies (including obscure businesses in emerging markets).
Our Internal tracking on our side however is showing ~15 ETF high level of uncategorised assets (Notably a couple of FTSE 250 ETF with only 74% catgorised) - which we donāt feel is acceptable and are chasing with our partners to improve
@tom.winterton thank you very much for this feedback and being transparent with whatās going on in the background. From an end user perspective it puts me at ease knowing that you are indeed working on issues and keeping me informed of successes as well as problems.
Unfortunately this is again showing only one Holding. This time a different one āEnergy Transfer LPā with 100% of the weight.
Any updates please? We are still missing the composition data for some ETFs.
Thanking you in advance!
@navro - We had an email from our data vendor (Tumelo) this week who said theyāre working to fix it but frustratingly not said when the correction would come through.
Weāre pressing them on this, however they really need to coordinate with the fund manager. These issues seem to stem from some fund managed (typically the smaller ones) who might often provide files of this data (rather than API connections).
Thank you @tom.winterton!
