Hi there i’d like to request an ETF, namely iShares SP20 which tracks top 20 companies on the s&p 500. Link here Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) | iShares UK – BlackRock
Hello, thank you for your suggestion! I have forwarded your ETF request to our investment team, who will look into adding it to our DIY portfolio option.
Fingers crossed this is on it’s way, there should be no reason not to add this one…
Hi, i read in another thread someone who works for InvestEngine say that this ETF is being added in the next addition of new ETFs to the platform.
Yes, that’s right @Sisaket
@Sisaket
Morning ,
'twas here:
Is anyone aware of when the next funds will be added to the platform?
@Sisaket
Morning ,
As you can see when following the link in the snippet above… they were “compiling the list” already 6 days ago.
Seems to be either a) a very long list or b) very complicated to compile.
Well yesterday was a golden day for topping-up a fund like this if you hold it. Unfortunately I still don’t!
If you have any other ISA’s elsewhere - buy it there if possible. If you don’t have ISA’s with anyone else yet - go ahead and just open an ISA on a platform which does.
Take advantage of the changed ISA rules which allow paying into multiple Stock & Shares ISA’s in the same tax year.
I don’t want to hold it in an ISA, my ISA allowance for this year is fully utilised elsewhere. I also hold a ‘sensible’ SIPP on Vanguard which is committed long-term to hold only a single ETF. Then I have a SIPP here which I have weighted massively towards US Megacap companies.
Only thing left to do is to open a General Investment Account elsewhere and Bed & ISA in the new tax year.
No, the only thing I’m doing is waiting for IE to add SP20 to the available funds as they have stated they will do, and then I will add to my IE SIPP that I already invest in. I’m really unsure why you are suggesting General Investment Accounts, ISAs, or other platforms.
The solution is simple, IE adds the fund to their platform, and I add the fund to my SIPP. I’m simply asking if anyone here knows when IE are likely to add the next funds to the platform, as official IE representation on this forum seems to be in extremely short supply.
@Sisaket the short answer is no
