Anyone received them yet?
I am no longer with IE, I moved everything to Vanguard Investor UK.
Just logged in and they have not paid out the dividend on the S&P 500 yet, so unlikely you will see it in your IE account
It should arrive soon, Vanguard Asset Management | Personal Investing in the UK
Thanks
Not received them yet. In my experience IE usually pays the dividends 1 or 2 working days after pay date. Vanguard always take longer, so usually a week or so after pay date.
Yep IE is normally 2-3 days after the due date, but you reinvest it straight away. Where as other platforms such as II pay you on the day but you can’t reinvest for 3 days. So you are not losing our by the way IE do it.
I reinvest as soon as it goes into my account, any dividends or new money is now going to VUAG S&P 500 Accumulation Vanguard Asset Management | Personal Investing in the UK
@jamesc
Morning ,
Vanguard does not have not a great track record paying dividends on time - so far I have had them pay late between 2 days up to 15 (!) days.
When I asked about it I was told that they have wording in their T’s & C’s stating that dividends can be credited anytime up to 20 business days after pay date and that is that, basically.
However, they do invest themselves automatically if you’re still holding the ETF (in my case) which has paid the dividend - otherwise it is being held as cash until you do something with it.
AJ Bell for instance pays within 5 business days after pay date but won’t re-invest the money automatically unless you have ticked the Dividend Reinvestment option for the holding. If you did then the money will be invested within 2 business days after being paid.
If I were a cynical cove I’d muse ‘nice little money market wheeze’ but I’m not!
Vanguard dividends have now been credited to account under date of 27/03.
