I’ve had a look for similar requests but couldn’t find the same feedback. Please could you consider adding one or two additional trading features on top of the Rebalance Portfolio feature:
Custom Trades
Often you might want to do individual trades to finely tune your portfolio. For example at the moment I would like to sell one ETF and buy one ETC with the funds without affecting the amounts of the others. In general though you might want to sell and buy a number of funds together which is a subset of your portfolio. This is currently not an option and you have to set the desired percentages for the whole lot, and the whole lot gets rebalanced all at once, potentially creating a lot of tiny or undesired trades.
Target Percentage Tolerance
In connection with above, it is somewhat annoying that the target percentages have to be whole numbers that get rebalanced if the value is only a decimal point away. Ignoring actual and target differences of less than a configurable amount would be ideal, defaulting to 1.0% but configurable to 1 decimal place.
Limit Order
In connection with the above again, I would like the option of a limit order, where the trade only happens if a certain value is reached. This could be the sale value of the whole trade, or an individual fund above a limit, or the buy price of a particular fund below a limit for example. I realise this is restricted to the single trade window that you have, which is part of the reason. If the market swings on a particular day after you have triggered the trade, you could potentially lose a lot of money and there’s nothing you can do about it.
In my opinion, without these features and a limit order in particular, it’s not a serious investment platform.
