IE aren’t using any other 2FA but instead require you to be logged into the app to authorise the login.
So to log into the app, you need to authorise the log in from within the app you are trying to log into. A catch-22 situation.
Very micky mouse operation. Anyone else have similar experiences
Hi @Pounds, I’m sorry to hear that your experience setting up 2FA was not as smooth as expected. Could you please contact our support team at support@investengine.com so we can take a closer look and advise you further?
Thanks. So after contacting it seems best is to not have the app or just say you don’t have a smart phone.
Problem seems to have stemmed from registering on the phone first.
SMS 2FA isn’t great but avoids the “need the code from the app to log into the app” cyclical problem.
