Yesterday (26 February) I got an InvestEngine e-mail that says PSRU (Invesco FTSE RAFI UK 100) has ceased trading and has been liquidated.
Invesco’s product page for PSRU shows a redemption notice of the same date.
However, Invesco’s page also lists an earlier notice dated 12 January on their intention to terminate PSRU which includes a proposed timeline.
If InvestEngine has passed on this earlier notice to users who hold PSRU in their portfolios, this would give users more than a month’s time to exit and/or switch at a time of their choosing, and avoid having assets sitting in limbo until the liquidation process completes.
Indeed I would recommend that InvestEngine review how shareholder notices in general (not just termination / redemption notices) are passed on to users in a timely manner. Thanks!
