Pending Execution

Hi there

New to IE. I funded my account and placed a bunch of orders on New Years day and expected them to be executed today. I noticed that at one point the orders could not be cancelled ( after 2pm ) but later today its now possible to cancel them which kind of suggests that they were locked in .. but are now unlocked.

I cant see any errors or messages and the funds are still there.

Is this normal or any pointers

Cheers

hi cinda,

from what i read of you post it appears

either IE did not action LSE to your buys

LSE did not action your buys, (maybe not trading or told by IE?)

101% sure it will happen on monday 5th 3.12pm ish.

Cheers Mark

Will keep an eye out for Monday.

There was some kind of a pop up messagebox on the app about the orders but it did not make much sense… and theres certainly no other indicators left on my admin page or on the app to suggest somethings not happened.

I did ask them earlier in the day if my orders would be executed but not heard from them yet.

Thanks

Cinda

Hi Again Mark

I received a message from support today saying they could not see my orders and asked to see a screen shot. ( Ive not heard back since ) They also said that it was because auto invest was turned off - but surely this feature should have nothing to do with orders that are already pending.

Im hoping its just as you said - and they will be executed on Monday.

Do you think its worth cancelling the orders and recreating them incase there some kind of system issue?

Cheers

Cinda

if auto invest is turned off it maybe that you are adding cash only.

if auto invest is on it will obviously auto invest.

if you have chosen to invest i can see no need to cancel.

usually i add cash to the cash section then i move cash to the portfolio, then i turn auto invest on and click the invest tab to see ‘pending’

doubt there is a system issue.

hope that helps.

There’s no need to go via the cash section. I transfer money via standing orders directly into the relevant portfolios and AutoInvest does the rest.

Thanks for this. The orders are in the pending order area and always have been. I’ve not heard back from support but just hope they go through tomorrow.

Hi , Is this in an ISA?

No - this is a corporate account. My ISA is in T212 - I may replicate my current setup in the ISA if Q1 performance is looks reasonable.

Orders placed now.

Thanks chaps for the replies
