Please add more banks to instant transfer

So 6 months ago I contacted support about adding Tide as an option for instant bank transfers and they said it’ll be “passed on”, but nothing seems to have happened. It’s quite frustrating having to do a manual transfer every time and wait for it to clear. I imagine a lot of other business account owners are similarly frustrated.

Tide is Truelayer compatable, which is what you use for instant transfers so it shouldn’t really be that much of a deal to get sorted, but it appears to have fallen down the same black hole as company payments into SIPPs. Is there any update on this?

Maybe it has to do with Tide not being a bank?

Also, could you maybe set up a standing order to fund your account / portfolio? That’s what I do - I rarely do manual transfers.

Nah, they are listed on truelayer and I’ve used other things that operate with it.

I send a lot of different sized payments through at irregular times so a standing order wouldn’t help.

Hi! I’m afraid that Tide only support Data Services through Truelayer, we will need them to support payments as well to add them to our Open banking option

Mmm ok. I’ll email them about it, see what they have to say. If it’s a no I might move bank as it’s quite inconvenient.

I don’t suppose anyone knows if Monzo’s Business Account does instant cash transfers?

Hi @Phlashman , Monzo business account does instant transfers - I use that for business account on IE.
