Hello everyone,
I am still waiting for the dividend from QYLP. As a new investor, I am unsure if this is normal. Is there a way to view the pending dividend on the app or website?
Anyone else in this situation??
Thank you for your assistance.

I don’t hold QYLP though I do own various Dividend-paying ETFs. No way I am aware to see a pending dividend, but for my holdings the money has appeared during the course of the Payment Date.
As you are a new investor, check you are entitled to the dividend :-
I don’t see Settlement Dates in IE, so you’d probably have to ask IE to check retrospectively. You could assume T+2 as a starting point though (so, needs to be bought before the 29th I’d say).
Incorrect Dividend dates initially in prior post, corrected now to align with dividend announcement, as per link
QYLD/P Dividend
As your purchase was made on the 28th @Halves it should have settled by the Dividend Record Date on the 1st Nov.
There have been occasional issues with extended Settlement Periods in IE though, so maybe a factor.
On the face of it, it does look like you are entitled to the Dividend Payment and should have had it by now.
There are sometimes comments about late payments but doesn’t appear to be a general problem. If no payment in a day or so, I’d be asking IE whether the trade made on the 28th had Settled by the 1st Nov, and where the Dividend Payment is if so (email support@investengine.com).
Interesting question re QYLP :: If I buy it on InvestEngine do I need to complete a test beforehand?
Sounds weird, but I was when I purchased it on another platform.
What’s this all about?
Hello, I believe I understand what you are saying. When I invested in seeders, it was the same. I had to do a test, but with InvestEngine, you do not have to.

@Haggis_Mince, QYLP uses call options to generate the high dividend. These derivatives are complex and I’d guess the platform would want to ensure that you understand the risk involved before investing.
It’s nothing at all like investing in the NASDAQ 100
